Discover the hidden world of bats after dark. With over 10 years’ experience, we offer engaging, informative bat walks designed for the public, organisations and community groups. Whether you’re curious about the wildlife on your doorstep or planning an event, each session is built to be accessible, memorable, and grounded in real ecological knowledge.

Walks typically begin around 30 minutes before sunset with a short introduction to bats: how they live, what they eat, and how to detect them using specialist equipment. You’ll learn how to use a bat detector to hear echolocation calls in real time, transforming what might seem like a quiet evening into a rich and active soundscape.

Events can be tailored to suit your needs. We can host walks at a selection of carefully chosen sites known for reliable bat activity, or we can come to a location of your choice. Sessions can take the form of a guided walk or a more static observation, making them suitable for a wide range of participants.

Fully insured, and able to accommodate groups of up to 20 people, these walks are ideal for community groups, schools, organisations, or public events.

Whether you’re looking to educate, engage, or simply experience something different, a bat walk offers a unique way to explore the natural world at night.
